Let’s kick off the season! Every year it seems like the winters last longer but we have had a few nice days and some members have taken advantage of shaking off the rust on their golf games. Remember if the ground is wet we don’t want to create any early damage with our golf carts so please use good judgment.

Dues Reminder – Don’t forget to pay your dues now so you may use the facilities.

If you would like to receive our monthly email and other correspondence about upcoming events please give your email address to Denise Niebuhr. This is the best way for us to keep our entire membership up to date on club activities and announcements. We will not be sending out any paper newsletters for the 2010 season. Copies will be available in the clubhouse and the emailed newsletters will be posted to the website.

Food Flare

The clubhouse is opening this Thursday. Friday, April 2^nd we will kick off our Friday night dining introducing chef Ryan Wilson. This Friday will feature lemon vinaigrette Tilapia, Rib eye on the grill, Shrimp on a stick and a few of the old favorites.

Please join us to celebrate Easter with a brunch from 10:00 to 2:00 on Easter Sunday, April 4^th. We will have a full menu serving roast beef, pork loin, biscuits & gravy, eggs, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad bar, dessert and many more items. Cost is $14 per person. We suggest making reservations for the best seating by calling the club at 465-3852, but it is not a requirement. We hope you will bring your families and friends and enjoy a great meal!

Perry Golf & Country Club will be holding the season opening party and dance on Saturday, April 17th. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. with a social hour. This year's featured band is Rukkus. The music will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any board member or at the clubhouse. The cost is $15 for a single or $25 for a couple. We hope everyone will come out, bring your friends and enjoy an evening of fun!

Don't forget to sign up for the 4-Person 8" Cup Tournament. The event will be help Sunday, April 18th. Please stop in the clubhouse or call 465-3852 to register your group. This tournament always fills up fast so be sure to call soon!

If you are interested in playing bridge with the ladies group please contact Dorothy Corrigan at 465-3656, Donna Carlisle at 480-4893 or Doris Hensen at 465-5492. This is a fun event with a nice lunch, an afternoon of bridge and a chance to catch up with friends and encourage them to join our club!

If you are interested in playing Men's league please contact Sean Iben at tuesdaygolf@hotmail.com. The Men's league meeting will be Thursday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m.

Senior League is for golfers who are 55 years of age or older. If you have played in this league in the past or if you will be new to the league please contact Denny Leslie at 465-2343. Senior league is played on Tuesdays.

Monday's will continue to be open to the public for golf. This includes Perry residents.'

Book of 5 passes $60 available for purchase by our family and single membership holders. You must accompany your guests on the course with these passes.

Our most important resource to keep our club thriving is our membership. We hope each of you will help us to recruit new members or encourage past members to give us another try! We have a beautiful facility and offer great services. If you know of someone who may be interested please have them contact Denise at 465-4344 or talk to a board member. We are again offering great discounts to our first time, new members. Let's all work together to continue to grow our membership!
